Of every color, made with different ingredients, with fruit and vegetables but also based on ice cream and dried fruit creams..

But what is a smoothie? A smoothie, a milkshake, a smoothie or a whole other story?

The centrifuged is a concentrate of vitamins and mineral salts and is obtained by centrifuging fruit or vegetables: the extractor simply separates the juice from the peel.
The smoothie or shake, on the other hand, is a drink that is obtained by mixing pureed fruit with fresh milk while a smoothie is obtained by adding ice cream to the freshly made smoothie.
The smoothie, on the other hand, is a pureed fruit or vegetable drink that involves the addition of water, yogurt or vegetable drinks.

Definition of smoothie

Smooth in English means velvety and, in fact, this preparation has the characteristic of being creamy, soft and frothy.
They don't always have milk and many prefer it with yogurt or simply water.
The preparation starts with fruit (but also vegetables) which can be used frozen.
The important thing is that, in the end, its very cold.

Everyone likes them, very versatile given the choice of ingredients that can be made..
Creamy, chocolate or exotic, with biscuits but also with vegetables: no limits to the imagination.
To be made protein with the addition of a scoop of protein and changing the taste every day or by adding dried fruit cream to make it even more delicious.

If you have never prepared one; well you don't know what you're missing..

Today I want to offer you my version, with chocolate and almond, sugar-free and with very few ingredients..
You need a blender, a banana and a spoonful of Almond Cream to create a wonder you will fall in love with in an instant.


100g of frozen banana
200g of sugar-free almond milk
1 tablespoon of organic almond cream
1/2 teaspoon of unsweetened cocoa


A few hours before starting the preparation, we can melt some dark chocolate in the microwave and create some chocolate games inside the glass jar that must be placed in the freezer until the moment of its use.

We also cut the banana into slices and freeze.

Once the ingredients are ready, pour the almond milk and banana into the blender jug.

We whisk at intervals of a few seconds to prevent the blades from overheating.

Therefore, we also combine the almond cream and cocoa.

We operate the blender mixing the ingredients until a creamy consistency.

We pour into the frozen jar and enjoy immediately.
